You can make provisional bookings by phone or email to check date availability.
A booking is confirmed only once we have received a completed and signed booking form , together with the required deposit.
Once confirmed, the following terms and conditions apply.
A non-refundable and non-transferable deposit is required as follows:
£100.00 for all buffet bookings
£200.00 for all other functions
Business account invoices are payable within 30 days, subject to prior credit approval.
Any buffet cancellations made on the day of the event will still be chargeable unless Lindleys Catering is notified by telephone before 9.00 am and confirmed by email.
A late payment charge of £10.00 will be applied to any invoice that exceeds the agreed payment terms.
A further £10.00 charge will be applied for each calendar month the balance remains unpaid.
The final balance for all events is due 7 days prior to the event date.
All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date issued.
If the booking is cancelled up to 6 weeks prior to the event date, a 50% cancellation charge will apply.
Charges will be based on the original number of guests booked.
Final guest numbers, menus, and any special dietary requirements must be confirmed no later than 7 days prior to the event.
The confirmed number will be the minimum number charged, regardless of attendance on the day.
The client agrees to indemnify Lindleys Catering against all costs, claims, expenses, demands, and liabilities incurred as a result of the negligence or wilful default of the client or any of their guests.
For waitress-service functions, access to the function room and kitchen is required 4 hours prior to the scheduled meal time.
All prices quoted assume ground-floor catering with easy external access. Additional charges may apply where there are no kitchen facilities or where equipment hire is required.
An adequately sized service area with running water must be provided at the venue.
All food is freshly prepared at our premises.
Buffet food should be consumed within 3 hours of delivery.
For waitress-service events, unless otherwise requested, our staff will dispose of any remaining food once all guests present have been served.
If the client wishes to retain leftover food, adequate refrigeration must be available, and responsibility for the food then passes to the client.
Any Lindleys Catering equipment left at the venue after staff departure becomes the responsibility of the client.

Any loss or damage will be charged at replacement cost only.
A nominal charge of £10.00 applies for delivery and collection within a 5-mile radius of Leigh.
Events beyond this radius will be charged at £1.00 per mile, calculated from postcode WN7 4ND.
Lindleys Catering reserves the right to alter menus without prior notice should specific products become unavailable.
